Make Hainan chicken with the New York Times

Hainan is the southeastern most past of chicken and they cook delicious chicken. In this cooking how to video tutorial Mark Bittman, from the New York Times, poaches a whole chicken with rice. The cooking process is very simple. All you do is take the chicken and place in a pot with water to cover. Add ginger, garlic, scallions and poach it. Cook rice in the broth that the chicken created and serve the shredded chicken over the rice.
