Make fusion grilled salmon with a fruit salad

In this cooking HowTo video Ellen Pruden features a fusion grilled salmon recipe using heart healthy canola oil. Prepare this fish recipe at home and serve it up with a fresh fruit salad.

Ingredients for fusion grilled salmon:
6 salmon steaks
1/4 cup canola oil
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp Sriracha (hot chili sauce)

Directions:

In a re-sealable bag add canola oil, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger and chili sauce Add salmon steaks. Marinate for 2-4 hours. Turn at least once. Grill steaks for 3-4 minutes per side or until fish flakes easily.

Fruit Salsa
Ingredients:

1 mango, cubed
1 avocado, cubed
1 tomato, finely chopped
1 green onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
juice of one lime
2 Tbsp canola oil
3 Tbsp chopped cilantro and mint
salt and pepper to taste
