Make Chinese beef lo mein

Ingredients

1 pound cooked lo mein noodles

1 1/2 pounds thin sliced skirt steak

1/4 cup shredded carrots

1/2 cup diced napa cabbage

1/4 cup sliced onion

1/8 cup sliced shitake mushrooms

1/8 cup cut snow peas

3 tablespoons canola oil

4 tablespoons soy sauce

4 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Chopped scallion for garnish
Directions

Heat a wok or large saute pan till very hot

Add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the garlic and beef, making sure to keep the beef rare, remove from pan and set aside

In the same pan add remaining oil then the vegetables in this order: cabbage, onion, shitake mushrooms, snow peas and carrots

Cook for 5 - 8 minutes

Add the noodles and toss

Put the beef back in the pan and toss in soy sauce and oyster sauce

Top with some sesame oil and give the pan a final toss

Garnish with scallions
