How to make caramelized onions

Caramelized onions are over cooked onions. They taste naturally sweet but for an extra punch of sweetness you can add honey or sugar, preferable brown sugar. Watch this cooking tutorial to learn how to make caramelized onions.
Ingredients:
Sweet onions (Yellow or White)
Olive Oil
Vinegar (wine vinegar or Basalmic)
Honey or Sugar (Optional)
1) Drizzle oil on a pan, make sure there is enough to coat the onions.
2) Take some chopped onion strips and add them to the heated oil.
3) Constantly stir the onions in the oil and cook till nice and brown. (You may heat your pan and leave the onions in it till it starts browning before reheating.)
3) Add some vinegar when the onions are slightly brown. Keep browning them till it becomes a nice dark brown color.
4) Enjoy! Add them to stir fry, soups, salads, desserts, etc
