Make an electrified pen

This how-to video shows a way to rig an ordinary pen to give an unsuspecting victim an electric shock whenever they click it open. To pull of this practical joke you will need a pen and a lighter. This one's a great prank but I think that the piezo used in this video hasn't got enough kick :( *Thinking of a more attacking electric spark thingy for my friends* ^___^

first off, that's a ronson lighter. second, that's called a piezo ignitor. thirdly, you might wanna research how electrical current works before making some vid like this. you created a groud path through the foil around the ink reservoir rather than the barrel of the pen which means that it won't shock someone who clicks it. the way those piezo ignitors work is by grounding from the base to the wire. i'm sure it makes sparks inside but electricity operating as it does will take the path of least resistance and just travel back to the base through the foil rather than through the barrel of the pen to your hand. fail
