Make an arc welder with a car battery & pocket change

The quarters, because they are mostly copper (over ninety percent), conduct electricity easily. They offer an easy path for the electricity to make its jump. Even better, because quarters are clad in nickel the sides are made of nickel while the core is copper the electricity passes through the copper core focusing the electrical discharge towards the thin edge of the quarters. This narrows the point of release, creating a more powerful electrical arc. This is totally from MacGyver and inspired by the man with the ingenuity of a pioneer or inventor.
