Build a USB fan from a broken disc drive with this simple hack. You'll start by dismantling an old, unplugged CD or DVD drive. While you'll find quite a lot of interesting parts, for this hack, you'll only need one of the motors. Once you have your motor, the rest of the fan fabrication process is a snap.
