I'm a Scorpio, and I must say everything except the cheap date thing is TOTALLY true. While I love being taken out to a classy restaurant, I don't mind going down to McCoy's Family Diner either. :D As long as you let me order desert.

I'm a Scorpio and the thing about compliments is complete bullsh*t. If anything, too much praise makes a Scorpio suspicious of insincerity, especially as Scorpios are suspicious by nature. And if we think you're being insincere, the trust we have in your character drops considerably and we'll let you know. Also, slavish devotion? Wrong again. We are highly jealous creatures, yes. And this is something that may cause a problem for some couples. But we don't expect "slavish devotion". That's... disgusting, in a word. Scorpios demand respect, and demand that their partners do the same. If we don't see you as someone at our level (which is difficult because we are very proud), we won't give you a second chance. It's a bitch and a half to deal with us when we're like that, but that's the truth. And I can't think of one Scorpio I know, including myself, that would act in such a bratty fashion as shown in the video, especially in public. We have volcanic tempers and emotions, but we're not ones for public displays. Finally, I agree Hellexise. While I enjoy the more expensive restaurants, I also do not mind being brought to a cheaper place. What counts to a Scorpio is the thought. That means the quality of the place. If that ain't there, then we'll it personally.

And Picasso, Grace Kelly, Bill Gates, Jodie Foster... (the list goes on and on).. All Scorpios.
