Know when to call the pediatrician

It's a natural instinct to pick up the phone and call the doctor if you think your child is sick. Not every sniffle is as serious as you might think. If a child 3 months to 3 years old has a fever of 102 degrees or above, call the doctor. Call if the child seems to be dehydrated. Signs of dehydration are: no tears, dry mouth, fewer bathroom visits. When in doubt, pick up the phone.
