For proper hand washing use the proper tools: soap, water and paper towel. This can significantly reduce the number of food borne and other illnesses.
People should be washing their hands before handling food and:
• after using the bathroom
• after playing with pets
• before handling utensils that may contact food
• after handling any raw food
• after changing diapers
• after coughing and blowing your nose
• after handling garbage
