Know if a child's snoring is a medical problem

Does your child snore at night? You may be surprised to learn that most kids snore sometimes. But how can you tell if your child's snoring is normal or something more serious? This program will discuss how to assess your child's snoring and what to do if you suspect a problem. Snoring is caused by an obstruction or narrowing of the air passages during sleep. Probably the most common physical problem associated with snoring is enlarged tonsils. Obesity can also contribute to snoring. Snoring-related sleep issues can lead to behavior problems, learning difficulties and excessive sleepiness during the day.
