Knit ribbing

In knitting, ribbing is a pattern with vertical stripes alternate with vertical stripes of a reverse stitch. Ribbing is usually created by alternating knit and purl stitches, usually knit 1, purl 1 or knit 2, purl 2. This instructional knitting video demonstrates how to do it.
