Install a mod chip in an Xbox

Here is a 9 minute video that goes into detail on installing a mod chip into an Xbox. It goes through opening the console and installing a new dash/apps/emulators.

Modding an xbox is great as you can then play games off the hard drive, listen and watch pretty much any time of media, check the weather, and play old school console games.

A modded Xbox running Xbox Media Center is all you need to enjoy your favourite media on your tv rather than computer (and a lot cheaper than Apple TV)

Only downside -- The Xbox struggles to play HD content due to the processor in the console only being a Pentium 3 733mhz.
