Hijack a fast food drive-thru with a CB radio

This video demonstrates a very simple way to broadcast your voice on the same frequencies that a drive-thru restaurant uses, enabling you to mess with the customers and employees. This hack will work on just about any fast food drive thru.

If you like the drive-thru pranks on the end of this video, you'll probably like the PLA Radio episode which revolves around various fast food shenanigans. You can listen to it here:

This does not work. First thing was opening the toaster, there was a small circuit board, but no crystal. The first CB radio was a cobra digital CB radio. It had 2 crystal's in it. Both were on the 10mhz range. Replaced one, then the other, and then both. No drive-thru action. So we went with the next choice. The uniden smaller CB radio it shows on this video. There was only 1 crystal and it ran on the frequency 10.2419mhz. I replaced it with the 6.553mhz crystal and oh my goodness, same thing! Didn't work! Sitting 10 feet from the drive-thru. Waste of time.

Your toaster should be full of various crystals, if not, it is a cheap as toaster. Try buying a better toaster. Yep, that worked for me.
