thats such an outdated n slow way to change any accounts password with the orginal password, load up in safe mode with command and type, "net user" then youll see all accounts type "net user *account name* *" make sure you leave space betwwen each word and the user and asterix... youll then be prompted to type a new password :)

You obviously did not understand what they did. Windows EFS (Encrypted File system) cannot and will not allow access without the valid username and password it was created under. The encryption is very strong and booting on a linux distro will not allow access!!

it is only a 156 bit encryption which would only make it 12 bit less than a standard bank account

easier way to get past the admins password. just load in safe mode and then go to control panel, user accounts and then delete the password. Voila you're in. This was not available in vista though.

about the cellphone, if you're on prepaid with bell mobility. download the proper drivers for your phone. connect your phone to your pc via bluetooth and plug into a wall. whether you have minutes or not as long as your account is not de-activated you can get free internet on your computer. it should connect at 115kb/s (nothing serious but better than nothing) all you do is create a new dialup connection and then for the phone number use #777 and then leave the username and password blank. Connect it and it should work. enjoy. this will work on contract phones as well, but definitely not reccommended because it will rack your bill up. This is called tethering on the EVDO network :D Enjoy.
