Hospitals have started to admit to errors and they are trying to do something about it. There are fewer nurses and doctors are always rushed. It is up to patients to trust their instints while in the hospital. In the hospital you should have a health buddy or advocate. You should ask for a copy of your plan of care, this will have your orders, medications and tests written on it.
