Get around Alaska

Get around Alaska

Check out this how-to video on wonderhowto.com to learn one of the best ways to get around the enormous state of Alaska.

The largest state by far, Alaska is actually the equivalent of one fifth the size of the rest of the country. Getting from site to site in Alaska can take time, but it's worth it. There are many ways to get around the state, and one of the best, and most relaxing ways to travel through Alaska is by train. You can sit back and watch the gorgeous and wild terrain of the state pass by your window when riding The Alaska Railroad, which is famous for their glass domed cars and legendary customer service. The trains in Alaska go through routes that are completely inaccessible to cars, so you'll get to see views you would never be able to lay eyes on if you had taken a car or plane to get around the state.
