Frontside boardslide on a skateboard with Rob Dyrdek

Master your skateboarding skills with this trick tip video tutorial with professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek. Here, Rob will teach you how to do the frontside boardslide on your board. The obstacle of choice: the flat bar.

A frontside boardslide is very basic, says Dyrdek, and what you really want to concentrate on is your initial landing on the bar. When you come off of the transition, you'll want to land with your shoulders open to the bar. This will help you run out of the trick safely. Come on, Rob Dyrdek knows his moves. If you just try to olly up and boardslide, you will hit your head.

Once you've learned the basic trick, you can do all kinds of moves with it, like ollying, or the kickflip.
