when i fold fitted sheets I actually make it completely flat by using my index finger to match up each corner exactly. By doing this you are able to illiminate ALL wrinkles for a perect fold. After all four corners are lined up I then fold in half and the again in thirds.

Tip: when atempting to line up the corners with your index finger pointing toward the ceiling note that the opposite corner will be outside in and again when matching top two corners with the bottom two corners.
