Draw blood with a standard venepuncture procedure

This medical instructional how-to video demonstrates the proper way to perform a standard venepucture procedure on a patient. Before drawing blood from any patient it is always good to identify your patient. Wrap the band at the top of the arm and use alcohol to clean the area. She made some vital mistakes, including leaving the turnicet on far too long. Turnicet should be left on the patients arm no longer than 60 seconds at a time.
