Draw a cartoon little girl with pigtails

Keep on cartooning with host Bruce Blitz as he shows you how to draw a proud girl with pigtails. All you need is a pad of paper, pencil, marker, colored chalks or colored pencils and eraser. Using a pencil, draw a bean shape for her head. Use your marker to draw an upside down U, down low on the face, for her nose. Draw 2 upside-down U’s for eyes, eyebrows going up and a large, proud smile. Draw a big ear on her right side, and go over the pencil lines around her face. Starting at the center and top of her head, draw hair going to the top of her ear and on the other side. Close the top of her head and draw a couple detail lines inside to show hair. Draw a small black circle for her earring, and large curved lines for her ponytail. Draw another ponytail on the other side, drawing small lines at the ends to show thick hair. Draw a small neck, with a shadow under her chin and a frilly collar. Draw a thought balloon to the left of her head with small circles coming out. Inside, draw the corner of a test paper with wiggly lines to show writing and a large A+. Use peach to color in her face, orange for her hair, blue for her collar and light blue for her test paper. Draw a few red lines around her face to show she is glowing. Watch this how to video and you will be able to draw a cartoon of a little girl with pigtails.
