Take a look at this instructional video and learn how to do a full body workout with the pick it up and put it away exercise. To perform this exercise, stand with your legs wide apart with one or two kettlebells or dumbbells to the outside of your left foot. Bending your left leg, lean out and pick up the kettlebells or dumbbells and bend at the elbows while drawing them in toward the torso. Pivot and raise the kettlebells or dumbbells above and beyond the right shoulder as if putting them up on a high shelf. If you're using a heavy weight, lift one weight with both hands. If using a lighter weight, lift with only one hand. Do a set of reps on one side, then do the other.
