How to do a Half Sidesplit Stretch

The half sideplit is a stretch for the inside of the thighs and the hips. Use this stretch to warm up for the sideplits or the scissor splits.

Description: Half Sidesplit Stretch

* Stand with your feet about 3 shoulder widths apart go down on one leg. The other leg stays extended.
* Touch the floor with both hands and press out/back the inside of the thigh of you bent leg with the backside of your upper arm (to make the stretch more intensive).
* Extend you hip. Try to touch the floor with your hips.

Trainer advice: Half Sidesplit Stretch

* Use the half side split stretch to warm up for the sidesplits or the scissorsplits.
* For the stretch it doesn't matter if the foot of your frontleg points up or forward. Gymnastics style (toes point forward). Wushu style (toes point up).
