Double Front Flip - Gymnastics

In this lesson you will learn how to do a double front flip and how to use trampoline and mats for a risk-free practice. Please be aware that this flip is very difficult and only advanced gymnasts should try this jump. Ask your coach or an experienced gymnast to assist / support you. Before you try the double front flip, you should be able to do the front flip without springboard or trampoline, the front flip layout and the front flip 180.

Trainer advice: Double Front Flip - Artistic Gymnastics

* Good equipment is the key to the double front flip. If you use a trampoline and a pile of mats like shown in the detailed instruction, you can learn the double front flip without ever being afraid of the next step.
* Ask your coach or an experianced gymnast to assist you.
* Learn the double front flip jumping from a 1m springboard into water first.
* Work on your normal front flips.
