Do the 1 Ball - Pounds basketball drill

Learn about ball handling and how to do the 1 Ball - Pounds basketball drill. This technique takes practice. Pounds are an excellent way to work on ball-handling. It is critical players dribble the ball hard so it spends less time in the air and more time in the player's hand. To execute 1 Ball Pounds the player will dribble 4 times at knee height, at waist height and shoulder height then cross over and repeat with the other hand.
