Do the 1 Ball - Inside-Out basketball drill

Learn about ball handling and how to do the 1 Ball - Inside-Out basketball drill. This technique takes practice. This drill is an excellent lead up to the inside-out dribble move. The quickness of the hand is the key. If the hand is quick then the ball can stay at waist level. However if the hand is slow the athlete will bring the ball up to chest level. The back of the hand must face the sideline when the inside-out is completed. Initially execute the drill with 2 dribbles - one dribble in front of the foot and then bring the ball across the mid-line of the body and then back on an angle to the foot. Notice how the angle of the dribble allows the ball to come up outside the hips. Learn how to improve your game with this basketball drill instructional video. Basketball drills are essential tools for a coach hoping to improve his team.
