Watch this science video to see how to do a titration experiment. What is titration? It's when you determine the amount of a constituent in a solution by measuring the volume of a known concentration of reagent required to complete a reaction with it, typically using an indicator.
Measure some alkali into a flask, fill a burette to the zero mark with acid, add some indicator to the alkali, add the acid from the burette to the alkali until... it changes color. Then read the volume of acid used off the scale of the burette. Make sure that all of the science lab equipment is washed with distilled water beforehand. You can also do the reverse and add the alkali to the acid if you want. Remember, always wear safety glasses.
