Dissect a human for the inguinal region

Dissect a human for the inguinal region

This anatomical video tutorial will show you a deep look inside the inguinal region of a human, much like yourself. If you're a medical student and you need cadaver dissection instructions, this anatomy video will help you along your way. Learn how to dissect a human for the inguinal region. If you don't know what inguinal means, then you should probably just stop watching right now, or you can keep reading until you see the word... groin. Know your osteology before beginning this.

1. Examine the round ligament of uterus or spermatic cord and inguinal canal.
2. Incise the complete thickness of the abdominal wall transversely at the umbilicus.
3. Examine the anterior abdominal wall below the incision, defining the folds and fossae in the peritoneum.
4.Examine the internal aspect of the inguinal region, defining the deep inguinal ring, inguinal triangle, and associated structures.
