Disassemble the vz. 82 semi-automatic pistol magazine

Disassemble the vz. 82 semi-automatic pistol magazine

You have an vz. 82 (commonly and erroneously referred to as the CZ-82), but how do you get inside the magazine to clean and maintain it? This weapons video will show you how to disassemble the vz. 82 semi-automatic pistol magazine. The pistol itself is a standard sidearm used by the Czech Army since the early 80's. This firearm manufactured in Czechoslovakia is a compact, double-action, semi-automatic pistol with a conventional blowback action.

To take apart the mag, first you'll need to take off the base plate and be careful of the spring. Take the spring and follower out, then remove the floor plate from the spring, then the follower. Next... wait, that's it, you're done, but now it's time to reassemble it. Pretty much, it's the reverse of the assembly instructions, so don't fret, it's easy. This video serves for a basis of almost all handgun magazines.
