The poor acting by actual police officers and doctors and low production values in this film make the live birth scene even more shocking than others from this genre.

Sudden Birth was made in 1966. We were all regular Berkeley Officers, except the real Dr. who played Officer Bob. We were volunteered to do the movie. That slippery baby is now 43 yrs old. It was a great experience.

I saw this video in 1978 in basic training. It's ancient; they're in a 1954 Ford. The Dr & Woman are married to each other. When her water breaks in his face, WOW, looks like the ConeHead child being born..lol
