Create a color coded organizational system

Create a color coded organizational system

Tired of looking at all those drab mismatched storage containers and file organizers on your shelves? With a fresh coat of Rusoleum Universal paint, you can create a color-coded system that will brighten up any uninspired office or room. Work doesn't have to be boring! Here's an attractive interior design solution. Spray paint your storage bins and organizers for further organization & create an attractive atmosphere.

Storage containers and organizers
Rustolem (or other brand) spray paint
Dropcloth
Gloves & mask (optional)
Sandpaper (optional)

MAKE IT with Readymade Magazine:

1. First you should wipe off your surface to remove any dust particles with a damp towel. If you are spraying wood, sand any rough spots or frayed edges with a fine grit sandpaper before wiping clean.

2. On some newspaper or dropcloth, spray a light coat of paint on the box holding the can 5-6 inches away. Let dry. Universal Paint’s drip guard will protect your surface from drips but please be sure to cover the space where you are painting.

3. When using Universal Paint, you’ll need only one coat of paint so repeat Step 2 on your containers with different colors.

4. When all of your boxes and drawers are completely dry, assign your colors to your needs, and arrange your new system on your shelves.
