Cook with tofu

Cook with tofu

You know tofu is good for you, but do you know how to cook with it? Watch how to drain, freeze, bake, and saute tofu like a pro. To remove the absorbed water from the tofu, put a paper towel over the tofu and place a cutting board and a couple of cans of tomatoes or whatever is handy. The important thing is to maintain the pressure on top of the tofu. Let the tofu stand like this for about 15 minutes.
To freeze tofu, place it in a freezer ziploc bag. To bake tofu, cut about 1/2" thick and place on a baking dish and put any type of sauce on it. Bake for about 1 hour at 400 degrees. To saute, cut into cubes and add to hot oil on the range.
