Watch and learn how to cook homemade manicotti with these two helpful chefs. The ricotta cheese we used was in a 30 OZ container so that equals about a little over 3 cups. We just noticed that our title was supposed to say 3 1/2 cups not 2 cups, just a typo mistake.
If you really want to kick up the flavor try to find some Impastata Ricotta, thats the best tasting Italian ricotta and can be hard to find.
You can also use a half tsp of salt in the filling but we don't use salt in our recipe due to watching our sodium intake.
