I tried making these - now they are our favourite type of roti. I used roti mix (similar to self raising flour). I usually use regular flour with baking powder. Thanks very much for a great receipe.

come on, this generation is going to use their hands to put oil on a hot roti. Better off giving advise to use a cooking brush or spoon. Use a paper towel and toss at the end. Oh dear so we would not scare the new daughterinlaws to cook for their motherinlaw.

Oh, my dear fellow guyanese I am from Berbice and thats not how we make roti.Ever eat any grandmas roti from Berbice.One thing I like about this video, is how she break the dough in 2 pieces and put the oil which makes it quick and easy for western culture.
