Construct an effective deer snare

Construct an effective deer snare

This is a scenic wilderness video tutorial showing how to construct an effective deer snare with a KaBar Marine Combat knife and Leatherman Charge Ti. Unlike some survival shows that pretty much promote non-preparedness, Nutnfancy always recommends going into the woods prepared with sensible emergency tools. Using such tools, the video shows step-by-step design of the this on-site design, safety and game behavioral considerations, common sense philosophy, and construction elements .

Two nails are used to save time but they could be substituted by fabricated sticks. Also reinforce that sapling for further spring strength should you need such a trap. Both the Charge Ti and the KaBar Utility knife performed admirably. Please note also, all components were fully dismantled after the shoot and no game was ever taken. Faithful companion, Allie the Mountain Dog, is nearby on this excursion to the stunningly beautiful Rocky Mountain area, wooded with Quaking Aspens in the fall colors. Finally, some footage of this scenery and the hike in is included also to give you a little sense of the adventure that day.
