* Sponges, both natural and nylon
* White vinegar
* Lint-free cloths and rags
* Dishwashing liquid
* A bucket
* Ammonia
* Drop cloths
* Rubbing alcohol
* Cleaning implements, like a vacuum, broom, dustpan, and mop
* Baking soda
* Batteries
* Clay cat litter and pan
* Some cleaning music

Step 3. Clean furnace
Step 4. Dust bulbs
Step 5. Make cleaning solution
Step 6. Protect floors
Step 7. Wet a natural sponge
Step 8. Scrub mold
Step 9. Clean windows
Step 10. Vacuum
Step 11. Clean detectors
Step 12. Wash floors
Step 13. Eliminate odors
Step 14. Thank God

Tip: Don’t use a nylon sponge or a rag; it will drag as you wash and take you twice as long.
