This video tutorial will show you how to check your car's power steering fluid. The first step to checking your power steering fluid level is to clean the cap and immediate area around it. Remove the cap and wipe the dipstick clean; note the indicated fluid level. Add power steering fluid to get the correct level. Reinstall the cap, start the engine and turn the steering wheel fully in both directions. Shut off the engine and recheck the fluid level.
