This video tutorial will show you how to check your car's engine oil. The first step to checking your engine oil level is to park the car on a level surface. Now, locate the engine oil dipstick and remove it, wiping it off with a clean rag. Examine the oil for problems and check the indicated oil level. Add oil if needed, through the oil filler. Now, recheck your oil level.
