Check a roast chicken for doneness

Check a roast chicken for doneness

Not sure if your roast chicken is done? Here's an easy way to ensure that any roast chicken is fully cooked. If there is any pink at all between the leg and the breast, it is not quite ready. Also, the leg bone should pull away easily form the body without having to apply too much pressure. Now check the same leg & if the pinkness is gone, you will need to check the other leg. For food safety reasons, it is really important that your chicken is done.
