Lets see,The first utmost procedure is to put on you safety glass's.Next apply emergency brake or block wheel so vehicle will not roll when you lift vehicle on one side.some people do not have flat garage floors. When separating lower ball joint never use a pickle fork,it rips the dust boot.Never jack up vehicle by it's rotor.Video was cut out because pressure from the coil spring will push out the floor jack when ball joint is removed and pull the cv axle from it's inner boot.Ball joint does not have to be removed from lower controll arm.
