Build your own focus wheel for the Canon HV20

Check out this instructional cinematography video to learn how to build your own focus wheel for the Canon HV20 camcorder. This design will give you more manual control over your focus, almost as good as a real focus ring. You will need the following tools and materials: a vice, a hand drill, drill bit set, metal file, and a hacksaw; a 2" light foam wheel, 1/32" aluminum sheet, 5/64" stainless steel rod, 1/8" bolt, washer and lock, and clear PVC general purpose tubing. Watch this tutorial and make your own focus wheel.
