Build a volcano

Build a volcano

You've seen a million wimpy paper volcanos at the science fair; this version is all about style. You've going to need a cat litter box or some kind of plastic tub (unless you're willing to make an enormous mess, or are performing the volcano experiment outside), a coffee can, dirt (an easily packable kind preferred, and avoiding manure unless you like the smell of feces), water, baking soda, dish soap, red food coloring, and vinegar. Follow along with the step by step instruction provided in this video tutorial and build a volcano of your own. It's weirdly really, really fun.
