Bake a maccha green tea strawberry roll

In this cooking HowTo video Ellen Pruden demonstrates how to make an easy and tasty dessert. Watch as she make a maccha green tea strawberry roll using heart healthy canola oil.

All the ingredients you need for this maccha green tea strawberry roll are:
6 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
2 Tbsp canola oil
2 Tbsp milk
2 tsp milk
2/3 cup cake flour
1 - 1 1/2 Tbsp green tea powder or cocoa
2 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup sugar
2 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

Directions:

In a bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar to eggs and beat until creamy.

In a saucepan on low heat, bring canola oil and both quantities of milk to a boil, stirring constantly.

In another bowl, sift cake mixture and green tea powder. Add to egg mixture, gently folding in. Add canola oil and milk mixture. Fold gently until all lumps are gone.

Pour mixture onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 325 F.

Once baked, remove cake from pan, remove the parchment paper and let it rest on a clean piece of parchment paper. Let cool.
Beat whipping cream and sugar until firm.

Serving Instructions:
Spread whipping cream on the cake, then add strawberries. Roll up tight. Refrigerate cake until filling has set.
Slice and serve.
