Acknowledge that you are stuck in a bad relationship

Acknowledge that you are stuck in a bad relationship

A relationship takes a lot of hard work. Is it worth fixing or is it time to move on? Follow along with this how-to video to learn if you are stuck in a bad relationship. I know therapy can be quite frightening but it may give you a fresh perspective on your relationship that neither one of you can see. It’s good to get out all of your feelings and emotions but when there are problems, the other person may not want to hear it. Men especially shut down and don’t want to talk about it, while women tend to push until they can express their thoughts thoroughly, which usually escalates the argument. But a therapist will give you an unbiased opinion. They’ll make sure each of you gets an ample amount of time to say what you want. Now you may say if you need therapy before you’re married you shouldn’t be together but in some cases it actually opens your eyes as to what is really going on. It might make you want to change what’s not working. When your boyfriend or girlfriend won’t listen to you and won’t see your side, this is a great resolution. Now it’s not guaranteed that your relationship will be fixed by going to therapy but it will give you the tools to make a decision on your future. I highly suggest this if you and your partner are open to it. Don’t make someone go to therapy if they really don’t want to, that just wont work! Very important, if you do go make sure you’re extremely honest about everything and lay it all on the table so you know exactly what you’re dealing with.
