Account for crop factor in digital photography

This video explains some of the hidden mysteries of digital photography. What is a crop factor? On a 35mm film camera, the frame you see through the lense will match the picture that you take. Most digital cameras do not have the standard 35 mm sensor, or full frame sensor. Digital SLR cameras have a smaller range. So, when you look through the lense of digital camera, the actual picture you take will be slightly cropped. This is the infamous, "crop factor." You can account for the crop factor in different ways.
