Unblocking MySpace at school is hard since there are teachers who check up on you to see what you're doing and there are more uptight security systems. Read this article to know how to do it without getting caught.

Step 1

Check the sites that are blocked on your local computer. Open Internet Explorer, select "Tools", "Internet Options". Click the "Security" tab and choose "Restricted Sites". The "Sites" button will become available. Be sure that MySpace is not listed, if it is, highlight and delete it.

Step 2

Lower the settings for your Internet security. This is not recommended for long periods of use, as this is how viruses and copycat programs infiltrate computers.

Step 3

Install a filter removing program. Many of these programs bypass the filter that is stopping you from accessing Myspace.com. Installing and using these programs may get you in serious trouble with your school or employer.

Step 4

Use a dummy proxy to bypass a block of the Myspace.com site. There are several of these listed on the Web. These sites are usually blocked in your school.

Step 5

Link to one of the free proxy servers and link to Myspace.com from this new site. The idea is to go through the proxy to the blocked site without the site address in the address bar. This process can get you into serious trouble too. These sites might be blocked too.

  • Since proxies get blocked often you should join a proxy mailing list like the one below to keep getting fresh proxies daily.

Warnings

  • You could get detention, suspended, expelled, or busted by the cops for trespassing and hacking for doing some of these things, so do it at your own risk. You could also go to jail for this as well.
  • It's best you don't tell your friends about this, you never know if they will spill the beans or not!
