Are the Nazi zombies killing you before you get to double digit rounds? Here are a couple ways to get up to about round twenty.
Step 1
Hold off the Nazi zombies (2 PLAYER).
- Begin in the first room by assigning specific areas to specific players. For example, one player covers one window at one end, and one person covers the other window near it. The middle window can be checked by both Players should start off by purchasing a weapon from the wall as the pistol does little damage. Some people prefer the KAR 98K as it is more powerful, has longer range and with only 5 shots you really make them count. However, experienced players might want to go for the carbine. Fend off the zombies by shooting through the windows, taking them out at as far a distance as possible.
- By the end of round 3 you will probably need to visit the HELP room, to gain better weapons. To have enough time to visit the room, you'll want to employ a tactic sometimes referred to as "The last zombie". For this tactic, one person keeps the last zombie alive so that the other has time to run to the HELP room, and also board up all windows. Then the other person keeps the zombie alive while the other goes to the HELP room. To keep the last zombie alive, either keep boarding up the window as he tries to rip it down, or just run around to avoid him. The point of keeping one zombie alive is to delay the arrival of a new wave. Once both players have done what they need to do for the next round, the zombie can be executed.
- Now that the HELP door is open, one player should have 3 windows, while the other has 2 windows and the help door to guard. Although it is a good idea to board up windows in the room that you are in, you should not board up windows in the HELP room, as this will lead to an entire wave of zombies coming through the help room at once rather than trickling through.
- WEAPONS Weapons are you own personal choice but always try to get the raygun. The combination of raygun and a heavy machine gun has been said to work well. In the absence of the ray gun, a powerful rifle to pick off zombies at long range is recommended, along with a medium range machine gun or shotgun to take them out while they are inside.
Step 2
Remember you are given 4 grenades per round so use them.
- As you get higher in the game levels, it has been advised to go upstairs and go to the room directly above the room where you start. This is because there is only one doorway and one window entrance, so it is easier to slay zombies entering. Using this technique, some people have been known to get as far as Level 19. Of course, once you are in this room, it is impossible to leave without employing the "last zombie" tactic. You must hope for good powerups to give you more ammo, or insta-kill to slay zombies instantly. Only use a nuke if you need it, as it means that you don't get points. When you have gotten upstairs all you need to do is there is a grenade buying spot on the wall, crouch, walk up to it, and check if you can stand. If you cant stand it should keep the zombies away or at least delay them when they get in. But if the zombies over flow they will get past the imaginary wall. and always get a max ammo when you find one, espeacially if your ammo is under 100 for ANY gun
- Remember communication with your partner is quintessential. Always let them know what you are doing and where you are, and of course, try to time your reloading so somebody is always firing. Teamwork is key to victory in this game.
Step 3
The idea is to get the power weapons early in the game. Try to get any of the following: Ray gun deployable mg44 deployable browning magnum as early as possible. You need to maximize the amount of points you can get from each zombie early eg shoot the zombie 4 times in the torso and then knife it. Only do this at round 1-2 when you need points. It is not a good idea to get the kar or carbine as these quickly become obsolete on the higher rounds. The ideal weapon combo would be a ray gun due to its ammo capacity and damage rate, and the mg44 for its ammo capacity and rate of fire. I suggest going in the corner with the grenades because when you have limited ammo, you can chuck nades and they are relitavely cheap. The good thing about this area is that you dont need to look behind you and there is only two possible enter points: a barrier to the right and a door straight ahead of you. With two people be very cautious of the barrier area as the zombie could catch you unaware and kill you. The only downside is that it is difficult to purchase random weapons and you will need to sprint downstairs if you want a new weapon.
Tips
- Teamwork is a must to success in this game!
- When you get in the help room try to get a good gun like raygun and then a fast reloading machine gun.
- For the first 2 rounds you could knife the zombies as that gives you more points.
- instead of opening the help room you could open the staircases then go to the help room.
- When applying the last zombie tactic, try to make sure it has no legs, as this will slow him down. But make sure you don't miss, or you will have towait.
Warnings
- If one of your guys gets incapacitated later in the game, there will be little chance of reviving him due to the sheer amount of zombies.
- Never get overconfident when using any glitch, espeacially at a high level. And when you get flame thrower, use it to help kill zombies faster. Never to just kill them unless you have a instant-kill.
- when one of your guys is downed, your best chance of saving him would be the death card: painkiller as this allows you to revive by shooting him.
