Have you ever had a water balloon fight and had to leave completely drenched? With these helpful tips you should be able to leave totally dry.

Step 1

Store your balloons.
It is impossible to carry all of your balloons without dropping a few in the process. To store your balloons have a bucket and fill it a quarter of the way with water. The water will prevent the balloons from popping in the bucket. store the bucket in a location your opponents wouldn't think to look.

Step 2

Avoid Grass. To put it simply balloons WILL pop if you drop them in the grass, you will get wet.

Step 3

Squeeze the balloons but not too much. If you squeeze the balloons when you throw the balloons they will pop faster when they hit the opponent. If you squeeze too much the balloon will pop on you.

Step 4

Catch balloons. If you catch the balloons properly then they wont pop and you will get another balloon. To catch the balloon extend your arms in front of you, toward the balloon, when the balloon comes into your hands move your arms back slowly. This will reduce the speed of balloon and keep it from popping. If you can only use one of your hands do the same thing but extend your free arm outward, when you catch the balloon slowly turn your body.

Tips

  • Dodge balloons if you avoid balloons you will not get wet.
  • Practice catching balloons, you will not get it the first time, but this skill is VERY helpful and will keep you dry if done correctly.
  • Have fun, no matter if you win or lose it's just a game :)

Warnings

  • These hints will not guarantee that you will leave dry, do not wear clothing you do not want wet. This includes shoes. You will not believe how long they take to dry. Wear sandals or flip-flops

Things You'll Need

  • Water balloons.
  • A water source.
  • A bucket.
  • A group of friends who don't mind letting you beat them.
