Always ripping your tights or pantyhose? As the cost of these soon adds up, it's good to know that there is an easy fix that might help you keep the tights and pantyhose a little bit longer.

Step 1

Purchase your tights or pantyhose.

Step 2

Remove them from the packet and place them in a plastic bag. Seal the bag.

Step 3

Place the bag in the freezer. Take out prior to wearing.

Step 4

Keep the pantyhose or tights in the freezer between wears, tucked inside the plastic bag.

Tips

  • Freezing strengthens the tights and pantyhose.
  • Avoid the additional possibility of tears when putting on your tights or pantyhose by wearing cotton gloves. These can be obtained at department stores and some pharmacies.
  • Always keep a second pair in your handbag or desk drawer at work to avert the disaster of a rip when you least need it!

Things You'll Need

  • Tights or pantyhose
  • Sealable plastic bag
  • Freezer
