This is a great prank, it is also a great attention-getter for attention seekers. And it involves making a sharp, booming sound that will echo through the cafeteria.

Step 1

Obtain an 8 oz. carton from the school cafeteria. They are usually filled with milk, chocolate milk or orange juice. You might also get fun flavors like strawberry milk too. Just make sure that they aren't a soft cardboard and not a hard cardboard. It has to be just right.

Step 2

Empty out the carton. Get a flavor that you like so you can drink it instead of dumping out since that would waste it. Make sure that it doesn't contain anymore liquid or else it won't make a loud noise.

Step 3

Fold the opening you drank from back closed.

Step 4

Flatten out the top of the carton completely, to make it almost a perfect square, while still keeping the opening you drank from closed and sealed.

Step 5

Place the carton, standing on the flattened out side you drank from, onto the ground. Clear out some space, but don't warn people by you if you want to catch them by surprise.

Step 6

Jump or stomp on it. Hit it straight on from the top or it won't work. You'll hear a loud bang, and the pressure should have burst a hole in the side of it. Discard after use.

Tips

  • You can also find some cartons on the ground and in trash cans, but make sure they are in good shape.
  • Works great in locker rooms because of the way the sound echoes.
  • Hitting a sealed and full of air Ziploc or paper bag or bag of chips can produce similar results.

Warnings

  • This is disruptive, may sound like gunfire and could get you in trouble.
  • Do this in an appropriate place. Most schools and cafeterias don't allow loud noises.
